Persistent efforts over decades has helped us in setting up 'The Vempilly Ayurveda', a true refuge from the stress and pandemonium of the city; the hospital that is ensconced in the serene and rustic charm of Nakapuzha village. You will feel at home, when here, with all of us being around as a family. Serving people has been our passion and purpose and we live upto the deepest of its essence every single day. We believe in living life to the fullest, hence, we would do our best to get you back to the finest phase of your life.
We started with meager resources and a capital of Rs.400. I was only a staunch believer of his (Dr. Mathew’s) vision and dreams that someday we would build a health center and help many just the way his ancestors did. Through the phases of growth
A humble beginning marked as Vempilly Clinic at Thodupuzha , in the year 2001. In addition with the pharmacy facilities, OP level treatments were also included successively. The foundation stone of Vempilly Ayurveda Hospital was laid by Ms. Rosel Witzel from Germany in 2008. Phase I construction was completed in the year 2011 and had consulting room, minimal paramedical facilities and 8 in-patient rooms. By 2014, additional facilities like first floor with a total of 20 in-patient room, laboratory and in-house canteen facility was introduced. 2020 marked the completion of phase III development of the facilities. We now have digitalized X-Ray, minor OT facilities and a conference hall.
It's not the contribution of a single person that made my dream come true. No amount of gratitude expressed to all would not make upto what I feel for their efforts in the happening of this project. However, I am thankful and grateful to my wife, Jessy, who stood by my side like a rock over years through thick and thin and in every moment of doubt and success. She’s been the pillar I could lean on rough days and my rainbow during days of joy. Every moment till date I’ve always felt blessed and thankful for all the gifts I’ve received from the supreme, especially her and our children, without whom the chapters of my life would have been incomplete. ~ Dr. Mathews Vempilly
